Geoff has over 16 years of extensive experience in the public works field at the regional government level. More specifically, he has extensive experience in asset management for water and wastewater infrastructure, condition assessment techniques, municipal finance, municipal management and capital planning. As a Project Director within AECOM ’s Information and Asset Management Group, he brings experience in municipal engineering, information technologies including software development and implementation, Geographic Information Systems, infrastructure performance and condition assessment and financial planning. He is a recognized figure in the industry for the development of asset management protocols and tools, enabling clients to develop complete asset inventories, refine key condition/performance indicators, enhance asset condition analysis and proactively manage their infrastructure, resulting in reduced lifecycle costs, improved levels of service, mitigated risk and increased understanding of future funding requirements. Over the past 5 years, he has been involved in numerous Canadian initiatives including the Municipal Infrastructure Investment Planning (NRC) project and the National Water and Wastewater Benchmarking Initiative.
